T3 Chat alternative: onAI for your company
T3 Chat is a browser chat service with individual subscriptions. Choose onAI for DeepL translation, Image Studio and direct support in German and English.
An individual price needs a company comparison
onAI starts at EUR 17 per user per month, including EUR 5 of model use. Larger teams pay less, or you can choose one fixed price for the company. Onboarding and training are included in the fixed price.
T3 Chat support replies quote individual Pro at USD 8 per account per month and Premier at USD 50 per account per month plus applicable tax. The replies are undated; Pro tax handling and final checkout details remain unconfirmed. Paid messages consume refillable allowances; using your own key adds provider charges. An organisation contract and pooled seats remain unconfirmed.

Choose the deployment before approving company data
onAI has a Swiss contracting party and runs on servers in Europe. If your IT needs a dedicated server or operation on your own infrastructure, both are available on request.
T3 Chat states that the service is provided in the United States and that information may be processed there or in other countries. Its policy names infrastructure and model providers without a component-by-component storage and inference map. A contractual EU-only option remains unconfirmed. Ask for the locations and agreement your company needs before sending work data.

Model choice and your own provider keys
onAI offers Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and Mistral from the models your administrators approve. Administrators allow or block models per group. Your own provider contracts and API keys, such as Azure or OpenRouter, are possible on request.
T3 Chat documents manual model switching in its Pro support discussions. For Pro, support also describes an OpenRouter key and fallback for long-context chats. The subscription and provider bill are separate. A complete current model list and compatibility matrix across Free, Pro, Premier and own-key routes remain unconfirmed; check the route you intend to use.

A clear place for everyday employee tasks
onAI provides an uncluttered browser interface without technical settings. Employees upload PDF, Word or Excel files directly in chat and ask questions about them. Chats can be shared with colleagues by link. Use the team trial after a personal demo to test those daily tasks.
T3 Chat also runs in the browser. Its FAQ documents links that open a new chat with a prefilled prompt, a model and optional search settings. That can suit people who want their own shortcuts. Managed client deployment remains unconfirmed.

Company permissions and individual usage are different
onAI administrators enable features such as Image Studio, translation and web search per group. They set cost limits per organisation and person, and review use by model, feature and person. Model permissions can also differ by group.
For the documented paid Pro and Premier accounts, T3 Chat uses Base and Overage balances. Base refills every four hours and Overage at monthly renewal. Requests reserve an estimated cost and settle it after completion, so the displayed percentage can change. This describes individual account consumption. Organisation budgets, group model rules and chargeback remain unconfirmed.

Case Study
Secure AI for 6,800 employees: how Manor established a privacy‑compliant alternative to ChatGPT across the company with onAI.
Thanks to the latest AI capabilities in onAI, our employees are more productive and use them securely and compliantly — at an affordable fixed price.
Where onAI fits better
onAI fits a company rollout where employees need daily writing and document tools with direct provider support. The fixed-price offer includes onboarding and training.
Document translation and images
DeepL translates documents with their layout and company glossaries; you can choose formal or informal address and adjust tone. Image Studio compares up to three image models on one prompt, with the estimated cost visible before generation.
A direct contact for rollout
You reach our team in German or English. Service levels and response times are agreed in the contract. We build custom agents and workflows as a service, so include the processes that need help in your evaluation.
Where T3 Chat fits better
T3 Chat fits individual subscribers who want browser model chat, reusable new-chat shortcuts and a Pro subscription with optional OpenRouter keys.
Personal shortcuts into a configured chat
Create shortcuts that open a new chat with your chosen prompt and model. The FAQ also documents reasoning and web-search options in those links. Search is confirmed for paid Pro; Free-plan parity remains unconfirmed.
OpenRouter for long chats
With a Pro subscription, you can configure an OpenRouter key to take over when a long chat exceeds subscription context limits, as vendor support explains. You pay provider usage separately. Complete model compatibility remains unconfirmed, so establish your intended model route first.
What onAI could do better
A deliberately smaller feature set
onAI focuses on what employees use daily and has fewer features than some platforms. We build custom agents and workflows as a service. Test your specialist tasks before choosing a company rollout.

Book a demoQuestions you might have
- Can we budget for 200 employees using the individual price?
- The public support prices describe individual subscriptions; they do not establish an organisation contract or shared administration entitlement. Company seat terms and European invoicing remain unconfirmed. Compare a company offer with onAI's per-user or fixed-price offer for the same expected use.
- Will our prompts train AI models?
- T3 Chat says it does not train its own models and configures named provider routes against training where possible. It retains exceptions for labelled models and makes own-key settings your responsibility. onAI does not use your data for model training and only uses providers that exclude it by contract.
- Can we try both before committing?
- T3 Chat's terms allow free use up to unspecified limits; a company trial with administration entitlements remains unconfirmed. onAI starts with a personal demo and then provides trial access for your team. Use your actual writing, document and translation tasks for that evaluation.
How this page was made
Research date: • Method: the vendors' public sources, collected and checked by AI agents and assessed against the onAI comparison rubric v1.1.
AI agents collected and independently checked the public T3 Chat FAQ, policies and identifiable vendor support replies. onAI statements come from its owner and reviewed public onAI sources. Individual subscriptions are kept separate from unconfirmed company terms; documentation gaps are not product absence claims.
Written by onAI. We make one of the two products compared here, so this is a vendor's comparison. We checked every statement about T3 Chat against a public source; the sources are listed in this page's structured data.
